SD Card Video Playback

I just purchased a BP-CH1014B and wanted to play movies from a SD card. When trying to play the videos on the SD card, the device tells me "video codec not supported". I used WinX DVD Ripper Platinum to transfer the videos from the DVD to the SD card. I've tried the following formats: codec h264+acc, mpeg4+mp3 and h264+acc with a lower resolution. Upon trying to play the 'h264' videos I get the same response, while the 'mpeg4' codec gave me audio, but no video. The videos recorded onto the SD card play in other devices I own, just not in this Naviskauto unit. What am I doing wrong. Going on a road trip tomorrow and want to keep my kids occupied. It plays single DVDs perfectly. Thanks.
