Naviskauto 1DIN W0108: Rear USB Ports

HI,

how much power can the two rear USB ports provide for attached devices? Up to 1A in total for both ports (resp. 0.5A per port according to USB2.0 spec)?

Maybe they can be used for powering a smartphone / mobile phone when not used for USB stick playback?

Thanks,

WilMert

Hi,

The USB power supply is about 5V, it seems like that they can be used for powering a smartphone, but some of our clients said it's not stable, so I don't suggest to use it to power a smartphone. You can buy other car accessories to get power through your cigar lighter.

For the whit cable with remark "Not use", please just leave it alone, you can use a audio cable to connect the AUX L and R from our unit, then you can make the sound from your phone to Car speaker.

One other option I thought of was somehow putting some USB ports in the back of the car, maybe attached to the center console?

If I have time Ill ask an auto electrician I know what they charge to wire it up.
