Receiving No Disk Error

I bought the 12.5" NaviskAuto Portable DVD player for a road trip a few months ago and loved it. It read every DVD and was nice and big so my kids could watch from a distance or up close.

However, it soon started giving a "No Disk Error" even when a DVD was inserted. Initially it would read the DVD some of the time, but now it won't read any DVD. I'm trying to contact customer support but so far haven't been able to reach anybody. I could probably take it apart and fix the problem, but I risk voiding the warranty and it is less than 6 months old.

What should I do? Is there a number for customer support or some way to get my DVD player exchanged? Or is there a way to make it read DVDs again?
