Purchased a CH1006; it has worked well for ~6 months, but now the screen won't turn on. When plugged in, the red LED light turns on to indicate it has power and is in off/standby mode, but when I press the power button, the screen just flickers on for less than 1 second and then turns back off immediately; then the red light turns back on and the unit seems to be back in off/standby mode. Normally power is connected through the ISO wiring harness; I also tried connecting power directly through the 12V in port on the side of the unit using a cigarette lighter adapter; in both cases the same problem occurs.
Are there any further troubleshooting steps I should take, or has the unit become defective?
