Hello,
I bought my device on amazon (single screen car dvd player, 10.1 inch).
Today I tried to install it in the car, but it does not start. when I plug the cable in the car there is a little red light, so it has power, but none of the buttons on the screen or on the remote seem to have any effect, the screen stays black and does not turn on.
I unfortunately also put a dvd inside to test it (label side towards me as indicated) and since the device is not turning on, I am not able to get my dvd back.
Can you help? Should I leave it plugged in for longer before trying, or is there something else needed?
Also, I just realised I don’t understand how the sound works, will it go through the car speakers or does it have its own speakers?
