I recently purchased model CH1003B-13A (listed as "10.1" Headrest DVD Player, Portable DVD Player for Car & Home Use Support Sync Screen/1080P Video/USB SD/Last Memory/HDMI Input" on Amazon). This is a Christmas gift for my daughter. I also purchased the Square Trade Protection Plan for the unit. ST provides a web page for transferring the ownership of the plan to a gift recipient however it asks for the product serial number. I cannot find anything listed as S/N on the device. The package had the model number and another identifier - " X001PV78GD". Please let me know how to determine the correct S/N. Thanks!

Due to the long warranty period of this product, there is no serial number on the body and packaging.

In addition to warranty info I would like to know what type of AC power adapter should be used in order to power it up in the home. I thought it would come with one since it was advertised for use in either auto or home. Can you provide one or tell me the specs of what is needed?

You can send email to the customer services(suokesi2015@gmail.com) to buy the AC power adapter. And there is a unique factory serial number on the lens, you can find it in the following two positions.
